| Description: | In the present study, we report the results of the kinetic studies of the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles in water at ambient conditions using the extracts of balm and peppermint. Silver nanoparticle synthesis was evaluated using UV–vis spectroscopy. The reaction velocity was studied by observation of the characteristic surface plasmon resonance band for silver nanoparticles, centred at 438 nm. |
