Особливості викладання історичних дисциплін у ВНЗ України (50–60-ті рр. Хх ст.)

Abstract

У статті розглядаються особливості викладання історичних дисциплін у вищих навчальних закладах України у 50–60-ті рр. ХХ ст. Автор аналізує навчальні плани та програми ВНЗ України цього періоду, визначає вплив ідеологічних установок на формування змісту вищої історичної освіти. На основі широкого кола джерел, автор встановлює, що при вивченні історії надавалася перевага періоду недавнього радянського минулого, історія викладалася на засадах марксизму, з акцентом на історію країн соціалістичного блоку. The article considers the peculiarities of teaching historical disciplines in higher educational institutions of Ukraine in 50-60-ies of the twentieth century. The author analyzes the curricula and programs in higher educational establishments of Ukraine of this period, determines the influence of ideology on the formation of the higher content of history education. The author notes that the curriculum was not expected to teach a separate course on the history of Ukraine, some topics on the history of Ukraine were a part of the course "The History of the USSR", which were closely connected with the history of Russia, Belarus, the Caucasus and so on. It was aimed to show the historical community between the peoples and their eternal desire to live in one state". This neglect of studying national (Ukrainian) history was intended to neutralize any national differences, erase truthful historical memory and to impose the idea of the unity and indivisibility of the peoples of the USSR. It is made clear, that while studying the history, the benefi t was given to the period of the recent Soviet past, the history was taught on the principles of Marxism, with the emphasis on the history of the countries of the socialist coalition.
