Пріоритетність патріотичного виховання особистості в контексті педагогічної спадщини О.Захаренка

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано педагогічну спадщину О. Захаренка присвячену ролі патріотичного виховання у формуванні особистості як громадянина. Висвітлюється особлива роль історико-педагогічних основ патріотичного виховання в становленні особи як громадянина та поваги до культурного й історичного минулого України. Зроблено висновки про необхідність вивчення й аналізу з точки зору сьогодення цілісної системи патріотичного виховання молоді у радянські часи (погляди О. Захаренка щодо патріотичної та громадянсько активної учнівської молоді). Ключові слова: О. Захаренко, патріотичне виховання, особистість, громадянин.

The pedagogical heritage of O.Zakharenko, devoted to the role of patriotic upbringing in the formation of personality as a citizen, has been analyzed in the article. The discrete role of historical and pedagogical foundations of patriotic upbringing in achievement of personhood as a citizen has been covered. The priorities of patriotic education in teaching activities of O.Zakharenko were: establishing of patriotic values and beliefs in the minds and feelings of the individual, respect for cultural and historical past of Ukraine; formation of ethnic and national identity, love for their land, family, nation, state, recognition of the spiritual unity of the population in all regions of Ukraine, its common cultural heritage and future; strengthening of humanistic morality as the basic foundations of civil society; cultivation of the best features of Ukrainian mentality – freedom, justice, kindness, honesty, carefully attitude towards nature. The judgments about necessity of studying and analyze of integral system of youth’s patriotic upbringing in Soviet period (O.Zakharenko’s views on patriotic and socially active student youth) in the context of modern times are made.
