Наукові підходи до визначення професійних якостей менеджера в США

Abstract

В статті розглядається проблема менеджменту, зокрема наукові підходи до розуміння поняття «менеджмент». Проаналізовані деякі американські моделі менеджменту. Особлива увага звертається на адаптивну модель. Роглянуто особистісно-професійні якості й уміння сучасного менеджера. Підкреслюється доцільність використання американського досвіду підготовки менеджерів в Україні. Ключові слова: менеджмент, наукові підходи, Україна, США, професійні якості й уміння.

This article deals with the problem of management. The most important scientific approaches to the understanding of the meaning of “management” by Ukrainian and American scientists are considered. Some models of managament are analyzed. Considerable attention is paid to highlighting of the peculiarities of adaptive model of management, its objectives and content. The main professional skills and personal features of modern managers in the field of their professional activity are defined (dignity, honesty, tolerance, adaptibility, responsibility, sociability, initiativeness, skills of communication, leadershi). The importance of American experience has been found out. The necessity of training managers in higher educational institutions of Ukraine with the help of American experience has been emphasized.
