Вирішення проблеми доступності вищої освіти в США

Abstract

В статті розглядаються питання доступності вищої освіти в США. Зокрема, аналізуються питання захисту прав на отримання вищої освіти представниками різних категорій населення(представники етнічних меншин, люди старшого віку, жінки та ін.). Аналізуються деякі нетрадиційні форми освітніх послуг для цих категорій. Підкреслюється важливість американського досвіду для України. Ключові слова: США, вища освіта, доступність освіти.

This article deals with the problem of accessibility of education (including higher education) in modern American society. It is underlined that protection of rights of different categories of American people in the field of education is a part of general policy of the government. There are also many different special organizations in USA (National Association for Multicultural Education, The National Education Association, The American Federation of Teachers, The National Association of State Boards of Education etc.) to protect the rights of students and teachers in the field of education. Special attention is paid to the questions of education of representatives of ethnic minorities, women, old people. Some not traditional forms of educational services for these categories are analyzed. The importance of American experience for Ukraine has been found out.
