Порівняльний аналіз особливостей організації соціальної роботи з людьми похилого віку в Україні та за кордоном

Abstract

У статті розглядаються особливості організації соціальної роботи з людьми похилого віку в Україні та за кордоном. Визначено мережі закладів в Україні, які обслуговують літніх людей, вказано на яких рівнях здійснюється діяльність. Висвітлено особливості здійснення роботи з похилими людьми у зарубіжних країнах, таких як Велика Британія, Швеція, Німеччина, США. Проаналізовано методичну, наукову літературу, ресурси інтернет- джерел що дає підставу стверджувати, про актуалізацію проблеми щодо вдосконалення соціальної роботи з цією категорією населення. The article deals with the peculiarities of social work with the elderly in Ukraine and abroad. The network of institutions serving the elderly in Ukraine has been defi ned indicating the levels of their activities. The peculiarities of social work implementation with the elderly in foreign countries namely in the UK, Sweden, Germany and the USA have been charcterised. Numerous programmess are implemented abroad to support health and well-being of elderly people, for which a number of relevant institutions have been established and located in the community, which give the right to choose forms of services. Methodical, scientifi c literature resources, online sources have been analysed updating the information on improvement of social work with this category of population. An innovative project aiming at implementing and practicing of implementation of principles of lifelong learning for the elderly is being realized in Ukraine. Perspective for Ukraine is to establish new social and social-medical services, buildings of compact residence (for 12-15 people in winter period), houses providing temporary accommodation (for 10-15 people), hospices (assistance services for the terminally ill), rehabilitation centers (for those who have experienced domestic violence), crisis centers, clubs etc. Key words: analysis, features, advanced age, social protection.
