| Description: | December 22, 2014 would have turned 85 th birthday of Stepan Mikhailovich Khripak – an outstanding scientist in the field of chemistry of heterocyclic compounds, Doctor of Chemistry, Professor of Organic Chemistry, Uzhgorod National University, the founder of scientific school of chemistry of heterocyclic compounds in our university, known for its achievements far beyond. February 14, 1968: at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the NAS (Kyiv) he successfully defended thesis and received the degree of Candidate of Sciences. In 1992, Kiev, State University S.M. Khripak thesis "Synthesis and reactions of a number of thieno [2,3-d] pyrimidine", whereby he was given the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences and in 1993 he was confirmed in the academic rank of professor. The results of his research are set out in more than 200 scientific papers. He is a renowned expert in the field of synthesis and study of heterocyclic compounds. His name is entered in the international data bank as one of the leading experts chemistry of heterocyclic compounds. |
