| Abstract: | The article is devoted to the consideration of mediatorial role of Ukraine in the settlement of Russian - Georgian confrontation in August, 2008. The author has come to the conclusion that unequivocal diplomatic support of the Georgian side by Ukrainian state has not promoted negotiating process and led to an aggravation of Ukrainian - Russian relations. |
