Abstract:	The topicality of the research lies on the attempt to analyze unknown farts of the history of the British conservatism. It enables us to detev mine Khit's role and his quiet revolution as a combination of home and foreign political measures directed at leading GB out of permanent economic, social and political crisis of the 1970-s. The authos claims that Khit's reforms have become the source of the future surcess of M. Thatcher's conservative government in 1980-1990-s.
