| Abstract: | У статті проаналізовано поняття, сутність і компоненти іншомовної компетенції та розглянуто питання формування іншомовної комунікативної компетенції студентів. У розкритті сутності поняття іншомовної комунікативної компетенції виокремлені наступні компоненти комунікативної мовленнєвої компетенції: лінгвістичний, соціолінгвістичний і прагматичний. Зазначено, що головною метою навчання іноземної мови є формування іншомовної комунікативної компетенції, яку розуміють як здатність до міжкультурного іншомовного спілкування та розкрито соціальний, лінгвокраїнознавчий, психоло- гічний і педагогічний зміст мети навчання іноземним мовам. Визначається, що з метою формування у майбутніх фахівців іншомовної професійної компетентності, необхідно дещо модифікувати зміст навчального курсу «Іноземна мова», суттєво збільшити кількість навчальних годин для вивчення студентами цієї дисципліни, а також запровадити навчальну дисципліну «Професійне іншомовне ділове спілкування» у вітчизняних ВНЗ. | Description: | The author of the artcile has analysed the concept, nature and components of foreign language competency as well as the issues of forming the foreign language communicative competence of students. In revealing the essence of the concept of foreign language communicative competence the author has identified the following components of the communicative competence of speech: linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic. The main purpose of foreign language teaching is to develop communicative competence in a foreign language, understood as the ability to cross-cultural foreign language communication. The author has revealed the social, lingvostranovedcheskih, psychological and pedagogical content goals of language teaching. With the aim to form the foreign language professional competence in future specialists it is necessary to define the content of the course "foreign language", in particular to substantially increase the number of course hours for students studying the discipline, as well as introduce the discipline "professional foreign language business communication" in the home universities.
