ДО ПИТАННЯ ВИВЧЕННЯ ФРАЗОВИХ ДІЄСЛІВ В АНГЛІЙСЬКІЙ МОВІ

Abstract

У статті розглядається фразове дієслово як особлива конструкція, характерна для англійської мови, визначено фразові дієслова та їх характерні риси, що відрізняються від інших структур. Велика увага приділяється опису різних класифікацій фразових дієслів, які базуються на конкретному критерії, серед яких ступінь семантичної єдності компонентів, сепарабельність або нерозривність фразових дієслів, наявність чи відсутність об'єкта тощо. Актуальність даного питання визначається високою частотою використання фразових дієслів, проникненням у різні функціональні стилі та їх значенням для спілкування. Фразові дієслова стають все більш поширеними з поширенням англійської мови, вони використовуються не тільки в розмовній англійській мові, а й у діловій, юридичній та інших сферах діяльності. The article deals with the phrasal verb as a special construction typical of the English language, the definition of phrasal verbs and their characteristic features that differ them from other structures have been given. Much attention is paid to the description of various classifications of phrasal verbs that are based on a particular criterion such as the degree of semantic unity of the components, separability or inseparability of phrasal verbs, presence or absence of the object etc. The difficulties faced by foreign students when studying English phrasal verbs have been considered as well. The topicality of this subject is determined by the high frequency of phrasal verbs usage, penetration into various functional styles and their importance for the act of communication. Phrasal verbs are becoming more common with the spread of the English language; they are used not only in spoken English, but also in business English, law and other fields.
