Соціальна робота з біженцями

Abstract

У статті розкрито зарубіжний досвід соціальної роботи з біженцями. Охарактеризовано діяльність міжнародних організацій (Управління Верховного Комісара ООН у справах біженців, Міжнародної Організації з Міграції, ЮНЕСКО, Міжнародного Комітету Червоного Хреста, Європейської Ради з питань біженців та вигнанців та інших), які здійснюють значний вплив на розробку міжнародних підходів і стандартів соціальної роботи з біженцями та вимушено переселеними особами. Розкрито основні напрями і форми соціальної роботи з біженцями. Схарактеризовано особливості професійної підготовки майбутніх соціальних працівників у вищих навчальних закладах США і Канади до роботи з означеною категорією клієнтів. In the article international practices of social work with refugees have been highlighted. The activity of international organizations (United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, International Organization for Migration, UNESCO, International Red Cross Committee, European Council on Refugees and Exiles, etc.) that significantly influence the development of international approaches and standards of social work with refugees and displaced persons have been characterized. Main directions and forms of social work with refugees have been defined. Peculiarities of skills training of social workers working with refugees at universities of the USA and Canada have been determined.Thus it can be argued that in the USA and Canada the process training of social workers to work with different groups of clients (also to work with refugees) has a multi-level character; is based on the concept of life-long learning and the principles of consistency, continuity, consistency in the implementation of content and technology; is characterized with the interdisciplinary approach and partnerships with social agencies. It has been found that both countries shared basic principles inherent in the training of social workers to work with refugees, due to specific social work professional competence requirements for professional and vocational caused specialist personal qualities (self-control, capacity for empathy, lack of prejudice against members other cultures, tolerance, lack of ethnic and racial prejudices, etc.).
