Гендерні стереотипи як соціальна проблема сучасних жінок

Abstract

В статті розглянуто як гендерні стереотипи впливають на соціальне становище жінок, які наслідки має гендерна дискримінація, основні напрями гендерної політики для зняття ефекту гендерної дискримінації. Авторами проаналізовано праці зарубіжних і вітчизняних дослідників, залежність понять гендерна дискримінація та гендерний стереотип, вплив гендерних стереотипів на трудову діяльність жінок. Визначено основні наслідки гендерної дискримінації жінок, основні напрями та інструменти зниження дискримінації для покращення становища жінок в інституційній сфері, в галузі моніторингу та освіти, у просвітницько-інформаційній сфері. Ключові слова: гендер, гендерні відносини, дискримінація, гендерний стереотип.

In Ukraine the issue of status of women in a society is given too much attention, but despite the best efforts of public authorities, the situation is still not completely solved. The place and role of women in society is one of the eternal questions. Historically, women have far fewer opportunities than men for the manifestation of their abilities. The reason for this is the attitude of society towards women. A woman can be realized as a person only motherhood and family life, and as for professional growth and social and political activities are considered secondary. This attitude toward women is a violation of their rights. Men and women in the developing socialization focus on their sexual identity. Sexual identification begins in early childhood and reinforced throughout life. The relevance of this issue is certainly growing. The purpose of the article is to consider the specifics of women`s social problems. And also work out some recommendations how to remove them in modern society.
