| Abstract: | In the present article the author suggests a review of scholarly opinions, expressed by Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian phraseologists doing the research work according to the cognitive and linguocultural trends. As a result of this study a conclusion is made about mutual influence and interaction of these trends on the way of figurative cognition and designating by man the objects and phenomena of the world around. |
