| Abstract: | Specific features of tin telluride SnTe single crystals obtaining by reverse Bridgman technique are studied. The initial material was used to achieve crystallization without contact of the crystallization front with container walls. Based on the estimated thermodynamical characteristics of tin telluride an attempt is made to affect the stoichiometry of the substance being crystallized by formation of additional pressure of the volatile component in the free container volume. Some features of formation of temperature fields at crystallization are analyzed, melt flow dynamics at different stages of the process is simulated. |
