| Abstract: | Polyvynylchloride (PVC) membrane electrodes were preparated by usang an ion-pair whish was formed by basic dyes and picrat-ion as the active material, dibutyl-o-phthalateas the plasticizer. In picrat solution the response range of the electrode was 10-4 – 10-1 M with a slope (mV/pPIC-) of 42-55 and a detection limit of and a useful life of 6 months. The selectivity coefficients were determinated for a number of common anions (SO4 2-, NO3 -, Cl-, Br-, CH3COO-) phenol, nitrophenols and other organic aromatic acids. The electrode was successfully used for determinated picrat-ions in samples of picric acid. |
