Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE OF PROFESSOR OLEKSANDR ZADOROZHNIY TO THE DEVELOPMENT DOCTRINE OF INTERNATIONAL CONSTITUTIONAL LAW AND INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW Summary The authors of the article analyzed various models of interaction between states and international organizations and the emergence of universal values, which shaped relations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Special contribution to the identification of these models belongs to professor Oleksandr Zadorozhniy. His works substantially contributed to the development of international constitutional law and international criminal law. In particular, some relevance may be found in arbitration cases against RSC “Gazprom” when building an argument concerning principles of constitutional justice and their influence at principles of social market economy. Professor Zadorozhniy explored the nature of the Agreement on United Economic Area (with the Russian Federation), which for a long time was considered as an instrument of integration between Ukraine and Russia. In particular, the scholar pointed out at the existing economic contradictions, the change of conceptual views on the processes of integration, as well as the order of transferring part of the authorities’ of the states to the single regulatory body of the UEA. Regarding the act of aggression of Russia professor Zadorozhniy emphasized that the Russian Federation maliciously used the argument related to the protection of rights of compatriots abroad. It may be a poor precedent for similar interventions in domestic affairs of other states.
