Виховний потенціал підручників для народної школи Августина Волошина

Abstract

У даній статті на основі аналізу укладених Августином Волошином навчальних підручників розглянуто особливості вивчення української та зарубіжної літератур у народних школах Закарпаття. Українська література представлена у підручниках А.Волошина досить широко і багатогранно, що формувало в учнів уявлення про літературу рідного народу як естетичну цілісність. Вивчення художніх творів сприяло формуванню у школярів знань про життя, побут, звичаї, мораль, світогляд народів світу, спрямовувалось на виховання моральної, високої естетичної та читацької культур. The article presenting the analysis of the school books compiled by Augustyn Voloshyn outlines peculiarities of teaching of the Ukrainian and foreign literature in the public schools of Transcarpathia. As it is clear from the content of the textbook the Transcarpathian teachers put the special stress in the national -patriotic education of the youth on learning the heritage of the folk culture and study of the Ukrainian literature. The Ukrainian literature was represented in the school textbooks of A.Voloshyn quite broadly and multilaterally what helped the school children percept the native literature as esthetically integral phenomenon. The selection of pieces of fiction of the Ukrainian literature for the first-third classes of the public school was made very properly as easily perceptible and spiritually close to the children meanwhile being efficient means of fostering love to the motherland, native language, instilled the principles of Christian morale and encouraged students to proceed study.
