Формування іншомовної компетентності в інтелектуально здібних учнів основної школи

Abstract

У статті висвітлено теоретичні та практичні аспекти проблеми формування іншомовної компетентності в інтелектуально здібних учнів основної школи. Проаналізовано різні підходи науковців щодо визначення поняття іншомовної компетентності, виявлено особливості її формування у школярів зазначеної категорії. На основі врахування результатів проведеного аналізу представлено авторське розуміння суті, структури та змісту іншомовної компетентності, презентовано систему формування цієї компетентності у високоздібних учнів підліткового віку. Визначено основні форми та методи навчання, шо використовувались в експериментальній роботі. Ключові слова: іншомовна компетентність, інтелектуально здібні учні, основна школа, підліток, форми й методи навчання.

It was determined in the article that in the conditions of European integration the significance of a problem of the foreign language competence’s formation among schoolchildren is significantly increased. It was proved that this issue becomes of special significance for intellectually capable pupils of the main school. Thus, these students have a significant personal potential, and correctly organized process of mastering them in a foreign language enables to create favorable conditions for more complete disclosure and further formation of this potential, it is the best way to use the pedagogical capabilities of adolescence. The study of the disturbed problem required, first of all, a clear definition of the very concept of “foreign language competence.” During the research, it was found that this concept was introduced into the scientific study by D. Hayesm, who defined it as an experience that gives to an individual the opportunity to successfully engage in targeted communication with other people in a foreign language culture.
