Неоміфологічна стратегія в романі Галини Пагутяк "Урізька готика"

Abstract

Мета статті – визначити функції бінарної опозиції «світло–темрява» у струк- туруванні художнього світу роману Г. Пагутяк «Урізька готика» та виявити специфіку неоміфологічної стратегії, застосованої авторкою. Увага зосереджується на ролі анти- номічної пари у моделюванні хронотопу, організації образної системи твору та в роз- гортанні сюжету. Акцентуються особливості авторського неоміфу про Уріж. Висновується, що обрана Г. Пагутяк неоміфологічна стратегія спрямована на рестав- рацію загальних схем міфомислення, зокрема бінарної аксіології, та конструювання ху- дожнього світу роману за моделлю космогонічного міфу, що уможливлює переосмис- лення сучасної дійсності в контексті вічності.

The purpose of the study is to determine the functions of the binary opposition «light–darkness» in structurizing the literary world of H. Pahutiak‘s novel «Urizh Gothic» and find out the specific character of the neo-mythological strategy used by the author. The paper focuses on the role of this antinomy in modeling the chronotope, organizing the system of the characters in the novel and in the plot evolvement. It highlights the peculiarities of the author‘s neo-myth about Urizh. The conclusions are drawn that the neo-mythological strategy applied by H. Pahutiak is targeted at restoring general schemes of mythical thinking, binary axilolgy in particular, and constructing the literary world of the novel according to the model of a cosmogonic myth that allows interpreting the current reality in the context of eternity.
