Перегук століть: давні лексеми у діалектному мовленні

Abstract

У статті на прикладі окремих слів, виявлених у пам’ятках української мови XIV–XVII ст., простежено динаміку семантичної структури лексем, з’ясовано їх подальшу долю – функціонування у сучасному говірковому мовленні південно- західного наріччя. Зіставлення і порівняння фактів діалектного мовлення з відповідни- ми явищами минулого допомагає науково пояснити процеси сучасної мови.

Using the individual words from the 14-17th-century historical sources of the Ukrainian language as examples, the author has traced the dynamics of the semantic structure of lexical elements and cleared up their further existence in the South-Western dialect of the modern spoken language. The phenomena of modern language are likely explained with the help of the opposition and comparison of the dialect speeches’ facts with the relevant events of the past.
