| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the factors that cause the necessity to intensify empirical sociological research of cross-border cooperation (CBC) at new Eastern EU border. Article considers the main aspects in sociological refl ection of cross-border processes, there are proposed its defi nitions. Substantiates the notion of "information service system of cross-border cooperation", examines the functions of empirical sociological knowledge for informational provision of modern crossborder phenomena management. |
