Abstract: The development and study of new chemical reactions involving new organic reagents allows the development of sensitive and expressive analytical systems. A promising sensory reagent (chemosensor) is an amine derivative of rodamine dyes due to their unique properties. Chemosensors are used not only as a means for identifying an analyte by molecular recognition but can also be used as a structural element for the creation of molecular-sensitive devices. Over the past decades, chemical sensing, which combines the determinations of a functional fragment with optical signal conversion, has received great attention as an effective analytical method for determining the specific type of ions (substances). Metal-ion-based sensors of induced fluorescence changes (colors) appear to be particularly attractive due to the simplicity and low limits of fluorescence detection. Due to the high selectivity and simplicity of direct visual or instrumental detection, especially with the ability to regulate the chemical nature (the introduction of specific functional and analytical groups), such substances can be used to detect and identify appropriate forms of metal ions. In this paper, a new chemosensor (ChS) was synthesized and proposed for Cu (II) determination. A new сhemosensor for Cu (II) determination was proposed and synthesized. The optimal conditions of Cu (II) and ChS interaction were established. The maximum of analytical signal observed at pH 4 and 2×10-4 mol/L ChS. Revealed that the introduction in the reaction medium to acetonitrile improves good spectral reproducibility and metrological characteristics. It is shown that the analytical signal Cu (II) do not affect a significant number of Cs(І), Na(І), Li(I), Mg(ІІ), Ca(ІІ), Ba(ІІ), Mn(ІІ), Ni(ІІ), Co(ІІ) and other ions. Under optimal conditions interaction built the calibration graph line to 2 μg/ml Fe (III). Keywords: chemosensor; Cu(II); organic reagents; derivative of rodamine.
