Лабораторія митця в мініатюрі «Хочу писати» Богдана Лепкого

Abstract

У статті зроблено спробу простежити художні особливості розкриття творчої лабораторії митця у маловідомій мініатюрі Богдана Лепкого епохи findesiecle «Хочу писати». Проаналізовано жанрово-стильову оригінальність фрагментарної прози в українській літературі епохи раннього модернізму, виявлено близькість жанру поезії в прозі до імпресіонізму. Проведено типологічні паралелі між твором Б.Лепкого та новелою «Intermezzo» М.Коцюбинського. Наскрізним мотивом мініатюри «Хочу писати», який створює настроєвість, є контраст між гамірним містом і природою. Ліричний герой твору, намагаючись подолати творчу депресію, переноситься уявою в світ природи. Автор майстерно поєднує звукові та зорові образи, що відображає загальну тенденцію того часу до синтезу мистецтв.

This article aims to observe the artistic features of artist’s creative laboratory in the less known miniature of fin de siecle “I want to write” by Bohdan Lepkyi. The paper has analyzed the genre and stylistic originality of fragmentary prose in Ukrainian literature of early modernism, has revealed the closeness of prose poetry to impressionism. Parallels have been drawn between the literary work by B. Lepkyi and the novel «Intermezzo» by M. Kotsiubynsky. The contrast between the bustling city and nature is the crosscutting motive in the miniature “I want to write” and this contrast creates desire. While trying to overcome the depression the lyrical hero is transferring himself with the help of his imagination to the world of nature. The writer connects skillfully the sound and visual images, reflecting the general trend of the time – the synthesis of the arts.
