Поняття та види академічної мобільності студентів

Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню поняття та видів академічної мобільності студентів. Обґрун- товано, що інтенсифікація процесів освітньо-професійної інтеграції, прискорення темпів науково-технічного прогресу, ускладнення технологій на сучасному етапі розвитку суспільства актуалізують фахову підготовку спеціалістів, які володіють високим рівнем мобільності вже в період навчання у закладі вищої освіти. Ме- тою даної статті є дослідження поняття та видів академічної мобільності студентів у сучасній системі вищої освіти. Методи дослідження: аналіз і синтез психолого-педагогічної літератури, узагальнення, класифікація. Встановлено, що академічна мобільність студентів – це форма організації освітнього процесу, спрямована на здобуття теоретичного й практичного досвіду навчальної або фахової діяльності. Вона передбачає навчання, виконання досліджень, стажування студентів у іншому закладі вищої освіти (в своїй країні чи за рубежем) протягом обмеженого періоду часу і їхнє повернення у базовий освітній заклад для завершення професійної підготовки. Досліджено різні види академічної мобільності, серед яких найпоширенішими є просторова та віртуальна.

The article is dedicated to the research of the concept and types of academic mobility of students. It is substantiated that the intensification of the processes of educational and professional integration, acceleration of the rate of scientific and technological progress, as well as the complication of technologies at the present stage of the development of society – these all actualize the professional training of specialists who already have a high level of mobility during the period of study at a higher education establishment. The purpose of this article is to study the essence and types of academic mobility of students in the modern system of higher education. Methods of research: analysis and synthesis of psychological and pedagogical literature, generalization, classification. It is established that academic mobility of students is a form of organization of the educational process, aimed at gaining theoretical and practical experience of educational or professional activity. It involves study, research, internship in another institution of higher education (in native country or abroad) for a limited period of time and further return to a basic educational institution for the completion of the professional training. The types of academic mobility are investigated. They are classified according to different characteristics: by subjects of implementation (mobility of teachers and students); by objects (educational, research (for students), professional development (retraining), exchange of experience (teaching), conducting research (for teachers and students); by forms (real, virtual); by the direction of implementation (vertical, horizontal, direct, reverse); by spatial grounds (regional, interregional and international). It is substantiated that the main goals and objectives of academic mobility of students are: to provide students with the opportunity to obtain education abroad in the chosen sector of training, to ensure accessibility to leading educational institutions and scientific schools, to expand students’ awareness of culture and traditions of the new country; to promote their personal development, to raise the level of knowledge and to create the employment opportunities; to stimulate the study of foreign languages as a means of international integration and the functioning of the single market of educational services.
