«Збраславська хроніка» як історичне джерело періоду правління Яна Люксембурзького крізь призму чеських медієвістів ХХІ ст.

Abstract

У статті йдеться про монументальну письмову роботу початку ХІV ст., так звану «Збраславську хроніку» (Chronicon aulae regiae). Робота належить до найцінніших пам’яток не тільки чеської, але й західноєвропейської історії XIV ст. Також вона є важливим історичним джерелом для вивчення періоду правління славнозвісного Вацлава ІІ Пршемисловича та Яна Люксембурга – засновника нової династії в історії Чеського королівства. Автор дає узагальнену характеристику «Збраславської хроніки» та викладає погляди чеських дослідників на проблему ідеалізації членів королівської сім'ї. У статті узагальнено новий матеріал з досліджуваної теми. У статті проаналізовано найновіші дослідження сучасних чеських істориків. Автор приходить до висновку, що «Збраславська хроніка» є прикладом відданої роботи цистеріанських монахів, які вдало витлумачили події кінця ХІІІ початку XIV ст. в ідеологічно-релігійному стилі, спираючись виключно на зафіксовані документи очевидців та свідків тодішніх подій. Для того, щоб ідеологія мала підґрунтя, автор Петр Житавський використав прийом ідеалізації членів королівської сім'ї. Значна увага приділяється на тому, що чеські медієвісти вдало озвучують та обґрунтовують проблему ідеалізації шляхом критичних пояснень. Вони намагаються правдиво оцінити роботу абатів та об’єктивно скласти історичний портрет головних персонажів хроніки, позбавити їх старих чи нових нав’язаних ярликів. Поряд з цим, історики прагнуть розтлумачити трансформацію особистих поглядів та очікувань самого автора хроніки – Петра Житавського. The article deals with the monumental writing of the early nineteenth century, the so-called «Zbraslav Chronicle» (Chronicon aulae regiae). The work belongs to the most valuable monuments of not only Czech but also Western European history of the XIV century. It is also an important historical source for the study of the period of government not only of the famous Vaclav II Prshemyslovych, but also of John of Luxembourg, the founder of a new dynasty in the history of the Czech kingdom. The author gives a generalized description of the «Zbraslav Chronicle» and outlines the views of Czech researchers on the problem of idealizing members of the royal family. The article summarizes the new material on the topic under study. The author proposes the most recent studies of contemporary Czech historians. The author concludes of the Zbraslav Chronicle are an example of the devoted work of the Cistercian monks, who successfully interpreted the events between the late XIII century and early XIV century in the ideologicalreligious style, relying exclusively on recorded documents, eyewitnesses and witnesses of the events at that time. In order to lay the ground for new ideology, the authors, namely, Peter of Zittau, used the reception of the idealization of members of the royal family. Much attention is paid to the fact that modern Czech medievalists successfully announce and substantiate the problem of idealization through critical explanations. Namely, they are trying to genuinely evaluate the work of the abbots and to objectively form the historical portrait of the main characters of the chronicle to deprive old or new imposed labels and, along with this, to interpret the transformation of personal views and expectations of the author of the chronicle - Peter of Zittau.
