Створення міських гербів Южного, Мукачева та проекту нового герба Ужгородського університету

Abstract

Автор на основі джерел розглянув питання створення міських гербів Южного, Мукачева та проекту нового герба Ужгородського університету. Мета даного дослідження містила наступне: розкриття процесу створення герба міста Южний; яким є сучасний герб Мукачева і саме постать Св.Мартіна як єпископа чи вершника на коні; чи потрібний був новий герб Ужгородського університету, у зв’язку з віднайденням нової дати заснування вищої школи – 400 років (1613 р.). Виходячи з мети дослідження, аналізу останніх публікацій, викладу основного матеріалу статті, автор прийшов до попередніх висновків. Потрібно дуже ретельно підходити до створення герба будь-якого населеного пункту. При виборі символічних фігур герба потрібно обирати ті фігури, які символізують та характеризують той чи інший населений пункт. Потрібно звичайно консультуватися при розробці герба з фахівцями з Українського Геральдичного Товариства (УГТ), котрі можуть провести геральдичну експертизу, надати необхідну інформацію і т.д. У випадку зі створенням і прийняттям герба м.Южний, цей процес тривав 1994 по 2003 рік. При створенні або поверненні до зображення старого герба, котрий би міг бути або стати новим-старим гербом міста, потрібно добре знати історію та геральдику того чи іншого населеного пункту, а особливо появу та використання відбитків печаток (печатей) на документах міського самоуправління. Так, склалося, що у ХІХ ст. у м. Мукачеві, тоді Мункачі використовували три печатки Св. Мартін з посохом (одна) і Св. Мартін на коні (дві), відповідно у діловодстві та церковних справах. Відомий кольоровий опис герба Мункача (Мукачева) з 1906 року: «В синьому полі щита із зеленою основою Святий Мартін, єпископ, у римському рицарському вбранні, на голові шолом. Він сидить на білому коні, вкритому червоним покривалом, і відтинає мечем свого червоного плаща. Відтятий шмат він віддає напіводягненому мукачівському жебраку. Верхівка щита прикрашена гербовою золотою короною». Майже через століття було прийнято новий герб Мукачева (1998 р.), який поєднав у собі дві символічні фігури Св. Мартіна: єпископ з посохом, а друга рука благословляє; і римський вершник на коні, відтинає мечем частину свого червоного плаща, яку віддає жебракові. Опис герба наступний: у синьому полі іспанського геральдичного щита зображений Святий Мартін у білому єпископському одязі, лівою рукою тримає пастирський посох, а правою срібний щиток, у полі якого зображено золотий меч, який розрізає червоний плащ. У зв’язку з майбутнім святкуванням «400 річного ювілею» вищої освіти на Закарпатті, де акцентувалась увага про наступництво Ужгородського університету, який був створений на основі єзуїтської колегії (1613 р., пізніше гімназії), заснованої дворянською родиною Другетів, постало питання про створення нового герба УжНУ. Були представлені два проекти нових гербів Олександра Поповича (члена УГТ) та Лесі Поліхи, де основною символічною фігурою на щиті є дрізд. Обидва проекти так і не були затверджені. Якби було доведено, що УжНУ має 400 роківі це дійсно пов’язано з родиною Другетів, то обов’язково новий університетський герб мав би містити у собі герб (серце щита) дворянської родини Другетів – сім дроздів. The author, on the basis of sources, considered the issue of creating the city’s coats of arms of Yuzhyi, Mukachevo and a new coat of arms Uzhhorod University project. The purpose of this study was as follows: the disclosure of the process of creating the coat of arms of Yuzhnyi; which is the modern coat of arms of Mukachevo, and the very figure of St.Martin as a bishop or a horse rider; whether a new coat of arms of Uzhhorod University was needed, in connection with the discovery of a new date for the establishment of a higher school - 400 years (1613). Based on the purpose of the study, analysis of recent publications, presentation of the main material of the article, the author came to the preliminary conclusions. 1. One should very careful to create a coat of arms of any locality. When choosing the symbolic shapes of the coat of arms, you need to choose those figures that symbolize and characterize this or that locality. It is usually necessary to consult with the development of a coat of arms with experts from the Ukrainian Heraldry Society (UHS), who can conduct a heraldic examination, provide the necessary information, etc. In the case of the creation and adoption of the coat of arms of town Yuzhnyi, this process lasted from 1994 to 2003.2. When creating or returning to the image of the old coat of arms that could be or become the new-old coat of arms of the city, one needs to know well the history and heraldry of a particular locality, and especially the emergence and use of seals (stamps) on documents of municipal self-government. So, it turned out that in the nineteenth century, in Mukachevo, then Munkashi they used three stamps of St. Martin - with a staff (one) and St. Martin on a horse (two), respectively, in clerical and church affairs. One knows the famous colorful description of the Munkach (Mukachevo)’s coat of arms since 1906: "In a blue field, a shield with a green base, St. Martin, a bishop, in a Roman knight garment, with a helmet on the head. He sits on a white horse covered with a red veil, and cuts off his red cloak with his sword. The shredded piece he gives to the half-dressed Mukachevo beggar. The top of the shield is decorated with a stamp gold crown. " Almost a century later, a new coat of arms of Mukachevo (1998) was adopted, which combined two symbolic figures of St. Martin: a bishop with a staff, and the other hand blessing; and a Roman rider on a horse, cutting off with the sword the part of his red cloak that he gives away to the beggar. The description of the coat of arms is as follows: in the blue field of the Spanish heraldic shield, St. Martin is depicted in white episcopal clothing, with his left hand holding a pastoral staff, and with his right a silver plaque showing a golden sword that cuts off a red cloak. 3. In connection with the upcoming celebration of the "400th anniversary" of higher education in Transcarpathia, where attention was focused on the continuation of Uzhhorod University, which was created on the basis of the Jesuit College (1613, later the gymnasium), founded by the noble family of Drugets, the question arose about creating a new coat of arms of UzhNU. There were presented two projects of new coats of arms by Alexander Popovych (a member of the UHS) and Lesia Polikha, where the main symbolic figure on the shield is the thrush. Both projects have not been approved. If it was proved that UzhNU has 400 years of age and this is really connected with the family of Drugets, then necessarily the new university’s coat of arms should include a coat of arms (the heart of the shield) of the Drugets’ noble family - seven thrushes.
