| Abstract: | The concept of old age has recently become the object of research in various fields among others, gerontological, psychological, social and cultural. The author explores the complex and changing conceptualisation of old age and its discourses. The article makes an attempt to define the nature of gerontological discourse and the methodology of its study. The research also describes the evolution of views on aging and the attitudes to the aged in society. |
