Галузевий аналіз сучасних тенденцій світових процесів злиття поглинання

Abstract

Процеси злиття та поглинання компаній є одним з найпоширеніших шляхів розвитку навіть для біль- шості успішних компаній. Укладені угоди мають глобальний вплив на світову економіку і на економіку окремих країн. Завдяки циклічному характеру, який притаманний багатьом економічним процесам, у тому числі злиттям та поглинан- ням компаній, значний інтерес викликає аналіз динаміки й особливостей здійснення таких операцій з метою визначення певних закономірностей. Також галузеві тенденції ринку злиттів і поглинань здатні відобразити присутність в еконо- міці певних диспропорцій. У статті проаналізовані показники процесів злиття та поглинання у різних галузях світової економіки станом на 2018 рік. Зроблено висновки щодо особливостей діяльності у різних регіонах світу. Визначено напрями розвитку та основні тенденції процесів злиття та поглинання на 2019 рік.

Competitiveness of modern companies is determined by their size and status, since large companies are economically more resistant to the negative influence of external factors because of the powerful and developed financial, production and organizational structure. That is why many companies expand their geographic area and grow. The process of mergers and acquisitions is one of the most common ways of development, even for the majority of successful companies. The concluded agreements have a global impact on the world economy and on the economies of individual countries. The cyclical nature is inherent for many economic processes, including mergers and acquisitions. Therefore, the analysis of the dynamics and characteristics of such deals is very interesting for businesses. It helps to determine the characteristic patterns. This research should make all companies, which want to have profitable deals. Industry analysis of mergers and acquisitions gives an opportunity to understand what investment trends are relevant. It is better to have wider information about sub-sectors and their development. Also, industry trends of the mergers and acquisitions scene are able to reflect certain imbalances of economy. Successful mergers and acquisitions are possible in all industries, it all depends on how one or another sector is prone to growth. Different regions also have an impact on such transactions, the dynamics for them is different from the big picture. Government regulation and the domestic economic and political situation can either slow down or increase the number of transactions. According to the received data, it is possible to predict the activity and factors of the impact on the mergers and acquisitions scene in the next period. The article analyzes the indicators of mergers and acquisitions in major sectors of the world economy in 2018. The influencing factors for the mergers and acquisitions processes in the second half of 2018 are revealed. Conclusions about the features of activities in different regions of the world are made. The development directions and main trends of the mergers and acquisitions scene for 2019 are determined.
