Віддієслівні назви осіб у словацькій та українській мовах

Abstract

У статті розглядається творення віддієслівних атрибутивних та аґентивних назв осіб у словацькій та українській мовах. У розвідці показано механізм творення атрибутивних та аґентивних назв осіб праслов’янськими суфіксами, а також визначені продуктивні та непродуктивні словотвірні моделі.

The article deals with the creation of verbal attribute and agent names in Slovak and Ukrainian languages. The work shows the mechanism for creating attribute and agent names by pre-Slavic suffixes, as well as identifying productive and non-productive word-building patterns. The names of individuals attracted the attention of researchers for a long time. They form a significant part of the vocabulary of all Slavic languages. This also concernes Slovak and Ukrainian. The nomina agentis and nomina attributive have been the subject of interest of many researchers; first of all they studied the wordformation structure of nomina agentis (T. Basova; P. Belousenko; S. Bogdanova; Z. Bulik; L. Vasilyeva and others). L. Zhuravska; N. Kabanova; V. Kolomiets; I. Kovalyk; A. Mamrak and others studied the names of the persons in the interlanguage and comparative plan. However, there are almost no works where comparing the names of the persons in Ukrainian and Slovak languages names was discussed. Therefore, our research is dedicated to comparing the names of persons in these two languages. The purpose of our study is to compare creation of the verbal nomina agentis and nomina attributive of persons in Slovak and Ukrainian languages, to find out similar and distinct features of creation of these names. Analysis of formation of verbal names of persons in modern Slovak language, in comparison with the corresponding groups of the Ukrainian language, shows that mostly identical methods and means of Slavic origin were used in both languages for centuries to create nomina agentis and nomina attributive, which promoted their closeness. In Slovak language among the nomina agentis the most productive suffixes are c / -ač, -teľ and among the nomina attributive they are -ec, -ník, -aň, -oš, -aj. In Ukrainian language among the nomina agentis the most productive suffixes are -nik, -ach, -tel, and among the nomina attributive they are -eс, -nik, -un, -en, -ij, -an. The specific suffixes of the Slovak language, which are not used in the Ukrainian literary language, were only the suffixes -och, -oň, but the suffixes -oš, -eľ are available only in dialects of the Ukrainian language.
