Мовний психосвіт програної битви ( на матеріалі новели О.Кобилянської "Битва")

Abstract

Стаття написана у психолінгвістичному ключі й спрямована на аналіз прихованих психологічних рис у художньому мовленні. Детально представлено мовні засоби реалізації авторської депресії на матеріалі новели О. Кобилянської «Битва» (1896 р.). Встановлено кореляційні зв’язки між лінгвістичними та психологічними параметрами творчої особистості. Основні висновки зводяться до того, що художнє мовлення – явище не тільки художнє, але й психологічне.

The article, written from a psycholinguistic perspective, aims at the analysis of hidden psychological traits in artistic speech. As the methodological basis of the study the theoretical works by V. Belyanin, L. Vygotsky, A. Zahnitko, S. Kuranova, O. Leontiev, L. Lysychenko, T. Skorbach have been used. The works of contemporary literary critics G. Levchenko, T. Hundorova, N. Zborovsky, S. Mykhyd, M. Tomashuk, Yu. Kuznetsov, the linguists L. Tkach, O. Kulbabska, demonstrating a new consideration of Ukrainian classical literature have been mentioned as well. Despite this fact, the inheritance of O. Kobylyanska cannot be considered as fully analyzed. The aim of the study is to reveal the linguistic means, realizing the hidden author’s depression in the short story «Battle» (1896) by O. Kobylyanska. The novelty of the paper is due to the lack of psycholinguistic analysis of the work, the topicality of the paper is preconditioned by the increasing interest towards psycholinguistics and its involvement into the popular linguistics. The main conclusions point to the fact that artistic speech is not only an artistic but also a psychological phenomenon. It has been proved that the choice of language means is personally oriented. The word being a selfsufficient value of an artistic text simultaneously serves as an artistic fixation of the subconscious psychological elements, and it is traced at all the levels of the semantic structure of the text. In the short story «The Battle» the psychological author’s «I» is projected on the realities of destroyed nature: there is a deep associative connection between the felling trees and the unfortunate fate of the writer herself. Tragic subject (death of the forest), lexemes with negative semantics (death, eruption, sadness), the markers of silence (silence, dumb), dark colors and shades (black, dark green, darkness), broaden syntactic contexts, minor narrative create the depressive psychological space of the writer. Her sad and poetic word is conveyed to the reader, arousing linguistic fantasies and prompting further observations. The perspective of the further study might be related to the reading of other works by Bukovyna’s writer to reveal their hidden psychological traits.
