Особливості обігу криптовалют як тенденція цифровізації глобальних фінансів

Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу сучасних тенденцій та передумов виникнення електронних грошей та торгових майданчиків. У роботі проаналізована природа та економічна сутність електронних торгових площадок. Розглянуто принципи роботи електронних торговельних майданчиків та переваги здійснення закупівельної діяльності за допомогою них. Описано основні засади функціонування криптовалют та досліджено найбільш популярні їх види. Серед найбільших за обсягом капіталізації можна виділити: Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Tether, Litecoin, TRON, Dash, Monero, Byteball Bytes, NEM, Siacoin, Decred. Найпоширенішою і найдорожчою криптовалютою визначено Bitcoin. Визначено основні відмінності між існуючими криптовалютами в особливостях їх функціонування. Проведено аналіз зміни курсів найпопулярніших криптовалют з 2016 по 2019 рік. Наведено основні переваги і недоліки використання цієї валюти в умовах сучасності.

The article is devoted to the analysis of current trends and prerequisites for the emergence of electronic money and trading platforms. This paper analyzes the nature and economic nature of electronic trading platforms. The principles of work of electronic trading platforms and advantages of carrying out purchasing activity through them are considered. Thus, ETMs are among the innovative and promising tools for improving the purchasing activity and the formation of commodity resources by trade enterprises, which contribute to improving the results of their economic and financial activities. The basic principles of cryptocurrency functioning are described and their most popular types are investigated. There are now very large numbers of them, namely more than 1.5 thousand kinds. Among the largest by volume of capitalization are: Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Tether, Litecoin, TRON, Dash, Monero, Byteball Bytes, NEM, Siacoin, Decred. Bitcoin is the most common and expensive cryptocurrency. The main differences between the existing cryptocurrencies in the peculiarities of their functioning are determined. The analysis of changes in the exchange rates of the most popular cryptocurrencies from 2016 to 2019 is also carried out. The cryptocurrency market (either "virtual" or "electronic" money) is successfully operating in the global market. But cryptocurrency implementation is not supported by all countries of the world, there is even a complete ban. The described features of the functioning of the cryptocurrency, the features of its issuance and the acquisition are significantly different from the features of the functioning of fiat currencies. The main advantages and disadvantages of using this currency in the present conditions are given. Thus, the advantages of cryptocurrencies are the lack of external or internal administrator, anonymity, investment opportunity, relative reliability, independence from political situation, efficiency, simplification of transactions and so on. However, like any other new phenomenon, cryptocurrency raises many doubts, such as the loss of a password or access to an electronic wallet, the possibility of hacking attacks, the impossibility of entering into the authorized capital of legal entities.
