Abstract

Офіційна статистика не може відображати повноцінну і реальну картину внутрішніх туристичних потоків Івано-Франківської області через недосконалість методології розрахунку. Мета статті – дати приблизну оцінку внутрішніх туристичних потоків на основі аналізу даних, що демонструють переміщення абонентів мобільного зв’язку. Моніторинг мобільності не є панацеєю, адже обмежений насамперед тим, що не містить інформації про мету короткочасного перебування абонентів на певній території, тому ми не можемо всіх без винятку зараховувати до екскурсантів чи туристів. Однак застосування інноваційного підходу до аналізу внутрішніх туристичних потоків та кількісного вимірювання відвідуваності регіону на основі моніторингу міжрегіональної мобільності абонентів зв'язку є перспективним напрямом подальших досліджень. У статті проаналізовано короткотермінові міжрегіональні переміщення (міграції) населення України у 2018 році у контексті вивчення внутрішніх туристичних потоків Прикарпаття у розрізі адміні- стративно-територіальних одиниць (локальних дестинацій) Івано-Франківської області на основі моніторингу міжре- гіональної мобільності абонентів оператора зв’язку. Увагу зосереджено на гостьових потоках до м. Івано-Франківська. Визначено найбільші за кількістю відвідувачів гостьові регіони (міста) України для обласного центру. Досліджено се- зонність переміщень (міграцій), тривалість перебування відвідувачів, що дало можливість виявити закономірності мо- більності, ознаки транзитності руху та ін.

Official statistics cannot reflect the true picture of domestic tourism flows entering the Precarpathian region be- cause of the imperfection of the methodology for calculating. The purpose of the article is to provide an approximate domestic tourism flows estimation based on data analysis that illustrate the movement of subscribers of the mobile communication in terms of the administrative districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Mobility monitoring is limited; first, by the fact that it does not contain information about the purpose of subscribers’ short-term stay in a certain territory; therefore, we cannot all of them count as excursionists or tourists without exception. However, the application of the innovative approach of domestic tourism flows analyzes and quantitative measuring of region’s attendance based on monitoring of interregional mobility of communication operator subscribers is a promising direction for further researches. The article is devoted to the short-term interregional move- ments (migrations) of the population of Ukraine analyzes in the context of studying the domestic tourism flows of Prykarpattya in terms of administrative districts (local destinations) of Ivano-Frankivsk region based on monitoring of interregional mobility of the communication operator subscribers in 2018. The Ivano-Frankivsk city’s guest flows are in the article’s focus. The guest regions (cities) of Ukraine with the largest numbers visitors for Ivano-Frankivsk city were determined. Investigated seasonal- ity of movements (migrations) and visitors’ stay duration in Ivano-Frankivsk city allowed to identify mobility patterns, traffic transit signs, etc. In line with collected data based on movement monitoring (duration of stay from 1 to 7 days), Ivano-Frankivsk city thought to be one of the most visited districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Over 0.5 million guest subscribers have been re- corded in Ivano-Frankivsk city, including almost 193 thousand subscribers – with overnight stays. Only about 10% of the guests stayed in the city for two or more nights. It is an evidence of transit and weak "tourism" flow. The mobile network data use in means of statistical information in the field of tourism is of a great importance for the region's economy, since tourism is one of the regional development priorities.
