Між Сходом і Заходом: ужгородська унія т греко-католицька церква в історії Закарпаття (спроба методологічного аналізу)

Abstract

The article attempt to methodologycally analyse the processes connected with proclamiting of the Uzhhorod chirch union and the place of Greco-Catholic church in the history of Transcarpathia. Greco-Catholic church has become a historical reality with which one has to take and account in spite of the bat that ecclesiastic theory rejects unification as a method of joining Christian churches. We should not only take it into account but study. The history of Uzhhorod church Union, and Greco-Catholic church activities are studied (and should be further thoroughly investigated) without modem stereotype interpretations of the church leaders and the clergy thinking, practices that characterized some previous pseudo-shcolary works.
