dc.description.abstractThe fortified settlement Maia Kopanja was established in the 1st century b. c. and destroied in 106 year a. d. by Mark Ulpij Trajan legioners. It was functioning as a war’s forpost and a center of a dacians culture at the Upper Tissa region. The weapons belong to the category of very rare subjects of Mala Kopanja col lection. They consist of 11 spearheads, 12 arrowheads, a scabbard fragment, a shield, a ring mail and 14 spurs. All the spearheads from Mala Kopanja belong to the finds with longer sockets and narrower blades, wich are placed in the territory'of Dacia within the 1st century b. c. - 1st century a. d. 12 arrowheads from fortified settlement are devided into 2 types. 14 spurs from Mala Kopanja belong to «Knopfsporen» type and are divided into 2 groups. The different groups of spurs were used by members of various social strata.uk
