Історіософія реалізації церквою Адвентистів сьомого дня ідеї здорового способу життя в Україні

Abstract

У статті досліджено історичний та філософський контекст інтеграції принципів здорового способу життя у внутрішньо церковний простір Адвентистів сьомого дня. Робота має міждисциплінарний характер, написана на стику історії та філософії. Доведено, що адвентисти упродовж історії існування деномінації активно намагаються реалізовувати програми боротьби із залежностями від тютюну, алкоголю, наркотиків тощо на церковному, суспільному та національному рівнях. Встановлено, що Адвентисти сьомого дня під час проведення оздоровчих та профілактичних програм акцентують увагу на духовне здоров’я людини. Узагальнено практичний досвід результатів реалізації оздоровчих програм адвентистами на територіях Індії та України. В роботі представлено огляд змісту адвентистських оздоровчих програм. На закінчення дослідження представлено перелік напрямів роботи адвентистів у сфері здоров’я в Україні через телеканал «Надія», санаторії, лікарні, програми, печатні засоби тощо. Однак реалізація принципів здорового способу життя не є досить ефективною, оскільки досі до Церкви існує упереджене ставлення з боку суспільних та державних організацій України. А зі сторони українських адвентистів невміння втримати баланс між пропагандою власних доктрин та безкорисним служінням суспільству залишає суспільно-церковні відносити в напруженому стані.

The historical and philosophical context of integrating the principles of a healthy lifestyle into the inner church space of Seventh-day Adventists has been investigated. It has been proven that Adventists throughout the history of the denomination have been actively trying to implement programs to combat addiction to tobacco, alcohol, drugs, etc. at church, community and national levels. The philosophy of the principles of a healthy Adventist lifestyle is based on biblical principles with the emphasis that the physical body of man is a temple for the Holy Spirit, which is why he should be protected from the effects of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, etc. Through the use of wellness programs, the results of studies by the world's health organizations have been trying to demonstrate to the public the importance of the mutual influence of physical condition on the spiritual health of man. It has been established that Seventh-day Adventists during their health and preventive programs focus on the spiritual health of a person, which in turn depends on the fulfillment of biblical principles. Adventist recreational activities in India and Ukraine are analyzed. It was established that methods to improve the physical condition of people and addiction programs were readily accepted by regional officials of India. In Ukraine, Adventists promote the principles of a healthy lifestyle through the Nadezhda TV channel, motels, hospitals, programs, print media, and the like. However, the implementation of the principles of a healthy lifestyle is not sufficiently effective, since there is still a prejudiced attitude towards the Church on the part of public and state organizations of Ukraine. And on the part of Ukrainian Adventists, the inability to maintain a balance between propaganda of their own doctrines and selfless service to society leaves church relations in a state of stress.
