Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню забезпечення права на сексуальну орієнтацію та гендерну ідентичність у період Середньовіччя та Ренесансу. Проаналізовано кримінальні закони, що забороняли «содомію» в країнах Європи та США. Розглянуто приклади з практики стосовно засудження та покарання осіб за одностатеві фізичні зносини.

The article is devoted to the study of the provision in the area of sexual orientation and gender identity right during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. The criminal laws prohibiting "sodomy "are analyzed in the countries of Europe and the USA. Practical examples are considered in relation to sentencing and punishing of same-sex physical intercourses.
