Характерні риси ідіостилю Г. Шевальє (на мареріалі роману "Clochemerle")

Abstract

У статті досліджуються характерні риси індивідуально-авторського ідіостилю французького письменника першої половини ХХ століття Габріеля Шевальє на матеріалі його роману «Clochemerle». В роботі ідіостиль розглядається як система індивідуально-естетичного використання властивих даному періоду розвиту художньої літератури засобів мовного вираження. Вивчення ідіостилю письменника не повинно обмежуватись суто лінгвістичними розвідками, а має супроводжуватись та доповнюватись даними історії, літературознавства, соціології, культурології тощо. В елементах ідіостилю Г. Шевальє знайшла своє відображення епоха створення його роману «Clochemerle». Серед характерних рис ідіостилю Г. Шевальє виділено багатоголосся аналізованого роману (за М.М. Бахтіним), яке забезпечується органічним поєднанням включених до тексту різних за жанром елементів, а також забезпечення автором індивідуалізації мовлення персонажів роману за рахунок введення розмовного мовлення з елементами просторіччя та діалектизмів. Відтворення розмовного мовлення жителів описаного регіону в описану історичну епоху також відзначено як риса ідіостилю письменника. Для цього автор використовує стилізацію розмовного мовлення окремих персонажів, залучаючи різнорівневі елементи, серед яких зміна фонетичного боку слів, морфологічні зміни, відповідне графічне оформлення реплік. Індивідуально-авторські тропи розглядаються як невід’ємна частина ідіостилю письменника. В романі вони створюють комічний ефект в описах персонажів, тоді як для опису природи тропи позбавлені такої функції. Прагнення до максимальної реалістичності відображення подій розглядається як характерна риса ідіостилю письменника в обраному творі. В романі автор звертається до реальних та наближених до реальних власних назв, надає історичні або квазіісторичні довідки про окремі місця та події.

The features of Gabriel Chevalier idiostyle in his novel “Clochemerle” are analyzed. The article studies the idiostyle as the system of individual use of the means of lingual expression common to a specific period of development of belles-letters. G. Chevalier’s novel “Clochemerle” is perceived as the regional novel based on the large social and cultural context. This is the reason why his idiostyle should not be studied only by linguistics but with the aid of literature studies, culturology, sociology etc. G. Chevalier’s idiostyle in “Clochemerle” reflect the historical epoch of its creation. Among pertinent features of G. Chevalier’s idiostyle in “Clochemerle” the novel’s polyphony (by M.M. Bakhtin) is observed. Such a polyphony is due to the integration of numerous incorporations to the text. These incorporations rank to different genres, but they are harmoniously built in the novel’s canvas. Moreover, the author tends to individualize the characters’ speech by the elements of vernacular language including colloquialisms and provincialisms. The reproduction of vernacular language of local residents during the specified epoch is also the G. Chevalier’s idiostyle feature. In the “Clochemerle” the author simulates some characters’ speech using the elements of different levels, as changing phonetical side of words, morphological changes, use the provincialisms and colloquialisms provided with appropriate graphical format of speech. The individual figures of speech are also considered as a crucial element of author’s idiostyle. In “Clochemerle” the use of individual figures of speech in order to create the comic effect in the description of characters is noticed. On the other hand, the individual figures of speech used for nature description don’t have this function. The tendency to ultimate literalism in the term of events description is perceived as the feature of G. Chevalier’s idiostyle in the analyzed novel. The author refers to real and based on real proper nouns, provides the historical or would-be historical facts about some placer or events.
