Методика аналізу авторських відступів в ангійських художніх прозових текстах

Abstract

Однією з найважливіших проблем лінгвістики тексту залишається дослідження структури художнього тексту, принципів його організації відповідно до правил композиції, які припускають членування мовного твору на взаємозв’язані частини. У зв’язку з цим вважається необхідним дослідження окремих композиційно значущих елементів тексту і їх ролі у формуванні всього твору. Актуальність роботи визначається її відповідністю загальному спрямуванню сучасних лінгвістичних студій із теорії композиції художнього тексту на встановлення лінгвопрагматичних властивостей композиційно-сюжетних, композиційно-структурних і композиційно-смислових одиниць тексту. Мета дослідження полягає у систематизації та класифікації методів вивчення авторських відступів у художніх англомовних прозових текстах з позиції комплексного підходу. Авторський відступ у нашому дослідженні ми визначаємо як автосемантичну композиційно-смислову одиницю художнього тексту, яка забезпечує смислову зв’язність тексту, виконує емотивно-естетичну, фатичну і когнітивну функції і таким чином виступає експліцитним способом визначення образу автора і читача в тексті. Запропоновано комплексну методику аналізу лінгвостилістичних і комунікативно-прагматичних особливостей авторських відступів в англомовних художніх прозових текстах, що включає низку таких методів, як: інтерпретаційнотекстовий аналіз – для добору фрагментів з англомовних художніх прозових текстів, що постають авторськими відступами; синтактико-стилістичний аналіз – для з’ясування способів організації авторських відступів у художньому просторі тексту; функціонально-наративний – для виявлення композиційно-мовленнєвих форм авторських відступів; лінгвокогнітивний аналіз – для встановлення функцій, що авторські відступи виконують у художньому тексті; комунікативно-прагматичний аналіз – для визначення прагматичних типів висловлень у складі авторських відступів та стратегій реалізації авторських інтенцій у тексті.

One of the most important problems of the Linguistics of text is the structure study of the literary text, principles of its organization in accordance with the rules of the compositions that suggest the splitting of the linguistic work in the interconnected parts. In this regard, it is considered necessary to research the individual compositional and significant elements of the text and their role in the formation of the whole work. Topicality of the given work is determined by its correspondence to the general direction of the modern linguistic studies from the theory of composition of the literary text to establish linguistic and pragmatic properties of the composition-and-plot, composition-and-structural as well as composition-and-semantic units of the text. The purpose of the study is to systematize and classify methods for the study of the author’s digressions in the literary English prose texts. In this article author’s digression is determined as an autosemantic compositional unit of literary text, which ensures semantic relationship of different elements of the text, performs emotional and esthetic, phatic and cognitive functions, and is considered to be explicit means in defining the author’s and reader’s images. A complex methodology is proposed for analyzing linguistic, stylistic and communicative-pragmatic features of author’s digression in literary English prose texts, which includes a number of methods: interpretation and textual analysis – for selecting fragments from English literary texts which are author’s digressions; syntactic-stylistic analysis – to find out how to organize author’s digressions in the artistic space of the text; functional-narrative – to identify compositional and speech forms of author’s digressions; linguo-cognitive analysis – to establish the functions that author’s digressions perform in a literary text; communicative-pragmatic analysis – to determine the pragmatic types of utterances as part of author’s digressions and strategies for implementing author’s intentions in the text.
