Комунікативний потенціал дискурсивних маркерів Sinse та Yet у процесі регулювання референції на мікрорівні

Abstract

Статтю присвячено визначенню комунікативного потенціалу дискурсивних маркерів Since та Yet у процесі регулювання референції. Зроблено спробу проаналізувати функціонування Since та Yet як маркерів регулювання референції та виявити прагматичний аспект їх стратегічного впливу на суб’єктів дискурсивної діяльності. Підтверджено, що на прагматичному рівні дискурсивні маркери набувають функції прагматичних маркерів структури дискурсу і використовуються мовцями у фазі обговорення, вони маркують мікрозв’язки між іллокутивними інтенціями, що передаються висловами щодо конкретного предмету думки мовця (референта). Доведено, що дискурсивні маркери беруть участь у конструюванні когерентних відношень між мовленнєвими актами у аспекті регулювання референції на мікрорівні. Встановлено, що елемент Since маркує відношення мікрорівневого причинно-наслідкового зв’язку на рівні двох іллокутивних інтенцій продуцента у процесі регулювання референції. Підтверджено, що якщо дискурсивний маркер забрати з контексту, зазначений зв’язок між висловленнями збережеться, і буде виражатися імпліцитно, тому суб’єктам дискурсивної діяльності буде важче зрозуміти та інтерпретувати повідомлення та доведеться вдаватися до інтерпретативних кроків і докладати значних когнітивних зусиль для сприйняття та розуміння висловлення. Встановлено, що елемент Yet маркує відношення мікрорівневого контрастивного зв’язку на рівні двох іллокутивних інтенцій продуцента та сигналізує про контрастивне підсилення референта у процесі регулювання референції. У такому випадку дискурсивний маркер Yet функціонує прагматичним маркером траєкторії мікрорівневого протиставного відношення між мовленнєвими актами. Доведено, що дискурсивні маркери Since та Yet володіють середньою частотою дистрибуції та функціонують лише у ситуації комунікативної монади, коли діалог відбувається між суб’єктами дискурсивної діяльності (продуцентом та реципієнтом), але репліку змінює не реципієнт репліки, а її продуцент, оскільки він коректує власну репліку, розширюючи чи звужуючи значення, маркує той чи інший елемент висловлення.

The article is devoted to the determination of the communicative potential of discourse markers Since and Yet in the process of reference regulation. An attempt has been made to analyze the functioning of Since and Yet as markers of reference regulation and to reveal the pragmatic aspect of their strategic effect on the subjects of discursive activity. It is confirmed that at a pragmatic level, discursive markers acquire the functions of pragmatic markers of discourse structure and are used by speakers in the discussion phase, they mark micro-connections between illocutionary intentions conveyed by statements about a particular subject of the speaker’s thought (referent). It is proved that discursive markers are involved in constructing coherent relations between speech acts in the aspect of reference regulation at micro-level. The element Since is found to mark the relationship of cause and effect at the level of two illocutionary intentions of the producer in the process of reference regulation. It is confirmed that if the discursive marker is taken out of context, the relationship between the statements will be preserved and will be implicitly expressed. Therefore, subjects of discursive activity will find it more difficult to understand and interpret the message, and will have to take interpretative steps and exert considerable cognitive effort to perceive and understand the utterance. It is proved that Yet element indicates a micro-level contrast ratio at the two illocutionary intents of the producer and signals a contrast enhancement of the referent in the process of reference regulation. In this case, the discursive marker Yet functions as a pragmatic marker of the trajectory of the microlevel contrastive relation between speech acts. Since and Yet discursive markers have been proven to have a medium frequency of distribution and function only in a communicative monad situation where the dialogue takes place between subjects of discursive activity (producer and recipient), but the expression is not modified by the recipient but by its producer. The expression, expanding or narrowing a value, marks a particular element of expression.
