Питання українського університету в контексті українсько–польських відносин у Галичині (середина ХІХ–початок ХХ ст.)

Abstract

In the article was considered the question of the Ukrainian University in the context of the Ukrainian-Polish relations in Galicia of the Middle of the 19th to the Beginning of the 20th Centuries. The author a research of activities of Ukrainian and Polish social and political societies of Galicia in this problem has been made on the basis of analysis of archives documents, home and foreign historiography. The premises of origin of the Austrian policy for Ukrainian University in Lviv and the process of their formation is investigated. The framework of organization and social and political situation of the national question in Austrian education, the Case of Ukrainians in Galicia are studied Attention has been paid to the organization of the process of studies and student’s associations.
