| Abstract: | E. Phencuk was last of sequence of wellknown transkarpathian cultural and civil- politikal figures of the second half of 19-th century. The great part in literature of autors heritance are his compositions on historikal theme: “Koijatovitch”, “Conqwering of Uzhgorod” etc. In his art-historical compositions and historiko- publikal artikles autor withstood and propagated an idea of origin of transkarpathian russians, their belonging to the easier slovans and lighted actively against the denationalizating politics of Hungarian authorities. |
