Abstract: In 1924 in the village of Lipcha was founded the women’s ortodox cathedral At the head of witch was the monakhinia Paraskeva (Prokop) and the hegumen Amphilohiy (Kemin). They organized the large missionary and enlightener activity, created the strong opposition of the Hungary’s in the country during the war. After the close of the ortodox cathedrals in Dragovo, Kopashnivo, and Domboka — the Lipcha’s cathedral stood the center of the women’s cathedrals in the regime. In 1959 here lived near 100 persons. That’s break an economic and the missionary forth of the cathedral, then the Soviets forth, at first took their land propriety, and in 1961 the cathedral is closing fully. Exactly after 30 years - in 1991 the hegumens renovate their cathedral. At the head of nuns was hegumenia Olge (Vovkanets).They take again their buildings of the boarding school, and the territory around the cathedral. During the ten years the monastery rebuilding. In this time here live 25 persons. This community plays the main part in the spiritual life of the Transcarpation.
