Knowledge, abilities and skills in preparing social workers for the work with teen-agers in the UK: anti-discriminatory policy and practice

Abstract

Nowadays, the UK government provides substantial financial support for the reforming of education and training in social work. Most of the reform concerns the issue of providing the Degree in Social Work, new system of accreditation of social agencies as a basis for the realisation of practical training and retraining as well as practice teachers training.
