Особливості суфіксальної номінації лексики футбольної сфери (на матеріалі іспанської преси)

Abstract

Пріоритетним напрямом сучасних лінгвістичних студій є дослідження тенденцій розвитку субмов і терміносистем сучасних європейських мов кінця ХХ початку ХХІ сторіччя. Зацікавлення мовою футболу в останні десятиріччя у мовознавців повʼязане з початком активного вивчення різних сфер мовної діяльності соціуму. Копаний мʼяч, який за свою більш ніж столітню історію трансформувався зі спортивної гри у соціокультурний феномен та по праву носить титул «короля спорту», в сучасному світі досягнув такого рівня популярності, що став не просто видом спорту, а стилем життя, своєрідною філософією, навіть релігією. Глобалізація футболу як феномена, який репрезентує сегмент мовної картини світу нації, активність словотвірних процесів та змінність лексичного складу його підмови зумовлює потребу у систематизації футбольних термінів та вивчення різних аспектів їх утворення та функціонування у системі мови. Сучасне іспанське спортивне мовлення загалом, а футбольне особливо, характеризується цілою низкою лінгвістичних особливостей не тільки на лексичному, семантичному, граматичному, але й на стилістичному рівні. Футбольний лексикон є відкритою системою, що постійно розвивається та поповнюється новими лексичними одиницями та смислами, використовуючи для цього увесь словотвірний потенціал мови. У цій статті автор зосередив свою увагу на огляді лексико-генетичних особливостей іспанської футбольної термінолексики, а саме на аналізі суфіксальної номінації як одного із найпродуктивніших словотворчих засобів збагачення іспаномовного вокабуляру цієї сфери. Терміни сфери футболу утворюються згідно зі словотвірними схемами мови за наявними, а іноді за заново створюваними моделями, які часто входять у загальну словотвірну систему. Одним із головних засобів поповнення фонду іспанської футбольної термінології є суфіксальний словотвір, який найактивніше виявляється в іменниках. У статті наведено доволі широку гаму суфіксальних формантів, задіяних у творення іспаномовних футбольних номінацій, проаналізовано їх за частотністю вживання та словотвірним значенням.

A dominant trend in modern linguistic researches is the study of tendencies in the development of sublanguages and terminologies of Modern European languages of the end of the 20th century and beginnings of the 21st century. The interest of linguists in the language of football in recent decades is associated with the beginning of an active study of various spheres of language activity of society. The football, which in its more than a century’s history transformed from a sports game into a socio-cultural phenomenon and rightly carries the title of “king of sport”, in the modern world has reached such a level of popularity that has become not just a sport, but a lifestyle, a peculiar philosophy, even religion. The globalization of football as a phenomenon that represents the segment of the linguistic picture of the world of the nation, the activity of wordformation processes and the variability of the lexical composition of football sublanguage cause the need for systematization of football terms and study of various aspects of their formation and functioning in the language system. Today’s Spanish sports broadcasting in general, and football especially, is characterized by a number of linguistic features not only on lexical, semantic, grammatical, but also on the stylistic level. The football vocabulary is an open system that constantly evolves and replenishes with new lexical units and meanings, using for this all the word-building potential of the language. In the article, the author focuses his attention on the review of the lexical-genetic features of the Spanish football terminology, namely the analysis of the nominative suffixation as one of the most productive word-formation means of enriching the Spanish football-vocabulary. The terms of the sphere of football are formed according to word-building schemes of the language for existing, and sometimes for newly created models, which are often included in the common word-building system. One of the main means of replenishing the Spanish football terminology fund is the suffixal word formation, which most actively manifests itself in nouns. A fairly broad range of suffixal formants involved in the creation of Spanish football nominations is given. Special attention is paid to suffixes with the highest frequency of use. The degree of productivity of suffixes is analyzed by word-formation values.
