Словотвірні симулякри в медичній термінології

Abstract

У статті висвітлюється симуляційна природа словотвірних моделей в українській медичній термінології. Доведено, що спотворення лінгвістичного коду, ілюзія його нормативної еквівалентности та його серійне залучення до лексикографічних джерел спричинилися до панівного становища термінів зі складниками -видний і -подібний у сучасній медичній терміносистемі. Окрім лексикографічних джерел, до розвідки залучена німецько-українська перекладна література, вивчення якої засвідчує ненормативність накинутих словотвірних засобів, що патетично поглинули всі нормативні перекладові моделі та започаткували їхнє безупинне репродукування. Стрижневою у цьому дослідженні є діяхронна метода (метода історичної реконструкції), позаяк саме вона уможливлює вивчення історії залучення не лише окремих термінів до дискурсу медицини, але і словотвірних моделей, які слугують підґрунтям для стандартизації медичної термінології. Відштовхом для дослідження слугує твердження про те, що переклад є гіперреальністю, себто симулякром третього порядку, для якого підробка (перший порядок) і серійність (другий порядок) є лише початковими формами. Розвідка провадиться на площині медичних текстів, що уможливлює вивчення термінів-відповідників крізь призму симулякрів. Термінологічним симулякром вважається мовний відбиток колоніяльного дискурсу в українській терміносистемі у вигляді терміна, уподібненого до структурних і семантичних зразків російської мови. Першопричиною виникнення та розповсюдження термінологічних симулякрів є непоборне бажання радянської влади очолити гру на «шахівниці перекладу», саме тому вона послідовно вдається до уподібнення української термінології до російських зразків: ухвалення резолюцій комісії Народного комісаріяту освіти, оприлюднення «Медичного термінологічного бюлетеня». Аби сьогодні не бути заручниками приписів ненормативного словотвору сталінського колоніяльного дискурсу, у статті здійснено десимулякризацію чинної анатомічної номенклатури та виокремлено сім способів нормативного відтворювання німецьких медичних термінів українською мовою.

The article sheds light on the simulation nature of word-formation models in Ukrainian medical terminology. It has been proven that the distortion of the linguistic code, the illusion of its normative equivalence and its serial involvement into lexicographic sources has led to the dominant position of terms with the components -видний and -подібний in modern medical terminology. In addition to lexicographic sources, the research involves German-Ukrainian translated literature, the study of which testifies to abnormality of the imposed word-building tools, which pathetically absorbed all the normative translation models and initiated their continuous reproduction. The backbone in this study is the diachronic method (the method of historical reconstruction), as it makes it possible to study the history of involving not only certain terms in the discourse of medicine, but also word-building models, which serve as the basis for the standardization of medical terminology. The foothold for the study is the assertion that translation refers to hyperreality, meaning it is the simulacrum of the third order for which the falsification (the first order) and mass production (the second order) are only initial forms. The research has been carried out on the basis of medical texts, which makes it possible to study equivalent terms through the prism of simulacra.A terminological simulacrum is a linguistic imprint of the colonial discourse in the Ukrainian terminology system, in the form of a term similar to structural and semantic samples of the Russian language. The root cause of the emergence and spread of terminological simulacra is the reluctant desire of the Soviet authorities to lead the game on the “translation chessboard”, which is why it consistently resorted to assimilating the Ukrainian terminology to Russian models: adopting resolutions by the Commission of the People’s Commissariat for Education, publishing the “Bulletin of Medical Terminology”. In order not to be hostage to the instructions of the non-normative word-formation of the Stalin’s colonial discourse today, the article deals with the desimulacrization of the current anatomical nomenclature and identifies seven methods for the normative translation of German medical terms into Ukrainian.
