Вірші-присвяти у збірці Лазаря Барановича "Zywoty Swietych" (1670)

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано вірші-присвяти у збірці Лазаря Барановича «Żywoty świętych» (1670) («Królowi wieków Nieśmiertelnemu Niewidomemu Jedynemu Najmędrszemu Bogu…», «Do Naijaśniejszego carewicza Theodora Alexiewicza», «Do czytelnika») з історичного, культурного та художнього поглядів. Окреслено роль вступних структурних елементів у барокових творах. Взято до уваги епістолярну спадщину поета, поетичну збірку «Lutnia Apollinowa» (1671), а також богословський трактат «Notij Pięć Ran Chrystusowych» (1680) та збірник проповідей «Меч духовний» (1666). Названо причини звернення Барановича до царевича Федора Олексійовича, а не Олексія Михайловича. З’ясовано походження афоризмів і біблійних алюзій, використаних у вступних частинах збірки. Завдяки заголовку вірша-присвяти Богові висловлено припущення, яким перекладом Святого Письма міг користуватися Баранович. Показано, як поет, формулюючи мету власної творчості, використовує потридентську риторику. Описано зображення, які містять вступні частини збірки, пояснено їхню роль у концепції збірки. Зіставлено присвяти у «Żywotach» з присвятами у передмові до книги житій о. Петра Скарги. Під час аналізу жанрових особливостей віршів-присвят взято до уваги поетику Мацея Сарбевського, зокрема розділ про різновиди вступів у епічній поезії. Визначено міру відповідності жанровому канону геральдичного вірша з віршем-присвятою царевичу Федору. Висловлено припущення щодо інтерпретації Барановичем московського герба, зокрема образу лицаря, а також щодо причин апеляції до відомого польського ренесансного поета Яна Кохановського. Зауважено консептивну природу віршів Барановича. Зроблено висновки щодо функцій присвят у бароковому поетичному творі.

In the present article the dedication verses in Lazar Baranovych’s poetry collection “Żywoty świętych” (1670) such as “Królowi wieków Nieśmiertelnemu Niewidomemu Jedynemu Najmędrszemu Bogu…”, “Do Naijaśniejszego carewicza Theodora Alexiewicza”, “Do czytelnika” have been analyzed from the historical, cultural and fictional points of view. The role of the introductory structural elements in baroque literary works has been outlined. The epistolary legacy of the poet has been taken into consideration as well as his poetry collection “Lutnia Apollinowa” (1671), the theological treatise “Notij Pięć Ran Chrystusowych” (1680) and the collection of homilies called “Mech Duhovnyj” (1666). The reasons for Baranovych’s appealing to Tsarevych Feodor Alexeyevich and not to his father Alexei Mikhailovich have been enumerated. The origin of the aphorisms and biblical allusions used in the introductory parts of the mentioned poetry collection has been clarified. Thanks to the headline of the dedicated to God verse it has been ascertained which translation of the Holy Scripture Baranovych could use. It has been shown in the article how poet, in the process of formulating the goal of his literary work, uses post tridentine rhetoric as the basis. The engravings contained in the introductory parts of the poetry collection have been depicted and their role in the conception of the poetry collection itself has been clarified. The dedication verses in “Żywotach” have been compared with the ones in the foreword of father’s Piotr Skarga series of books devoted to the lives of saints. In the process of an analysis of the genre features of the dedication verses, the theoretical work “Characteres lyrici” by Maciej Sarbiewski, especially the section where he talks about the differentiation of the forewords in epic poetry has been taken into consideration. It has been determined to what degree the verse dedicated to Tsarevych Feodor correlates with the genre canon of the heraldic verse itself. The assumptions have been made about how exactly Baranovych interprets the Moscow emblem, the image of The Knight in particular and why he appeals to the famous Polish poet of the Renaissance Jan Kohanovskyj in his poetry collection “Żywoty Świętych”. The conceptive nature of Lazar Baranovych’s verses has been noted. The conclusions about the functions of the dedication verses in baroque poetry work have been made.
