Елементи автобіографічності у творчості А.фон Дросте-Гюльсхоф

Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню автобіографічних мотивів у творчості А. фон Дросте – однієї з величних авторок німецької літератури ХІХ ст. Літературна спадщина маловідома українському читачу, як і історія життя Дросте, що також заслуговує на увагу завдяки незмінній чесності і незламній вірі, які пронизують її поетичну та прозову творчість. Численні дослідники широко використовують біографічний метод і спираються на ідею зв’язку життя та мотивів творчості письменниці. Водночас аналізу піддають в основному низку знакових поезій майстрині. Представлене дослідження сконцентроване на пильному розгляді автобіографічних компонентів у двох незавершених романах авторки – «Ledwina» та «Bei uns zu Lande auf dem Lande». Основними елементами створеного майстринею автобіографічного поля є характери її героїнь і багатопланові композиції: периферійну увагу читача авторка спрямовує на типовий вестфалійський уклад, а у фокусі сприйняття при цьому опиняється локус родини. Сучасні Дросте тенденції еволюції стосунків поколінь піддаються письменницею ґрунтовному критичному аналізу, а міцний фамільний зв’язок продемонстровано в антитетичних умовах внутрішнього сімейного середовища. Це ідилічна картина подружнього порозуміння і любові у романі «Bei uns zu Lande auf dem Lande», а з іншого боку – намагання удови – матері Ледвіни – згуртувати дітей для конфронтації з новими життєвими обставинами. Представлений контраст значною мірою базується на власних переживаннях Дросте: запозичивши риси найрідніших людей у створенні персонажів очільників роду, авторка чесно сформувала характери своїх героїв із поглядом на життя водночас і патріотичним, і відмінним від свого. Головних жіночих персонажів романів (Ледвіну і Софі) майстриня наділила не лише рисами своєї зовнішності і власною хворобливістю − авторка обґрунтувала правдоподібність їх повсякдення і життєву позицію з власного досвіду фізично обмеженого існування і духовної моці. Суб’єктивне авторське «я» є стрижнем, з’єднувальним елементом запланованої Дросте композиції, органічність компонування власне автобіографічного і типового, традиційного вестфалійського є ознаками свідомого створення письменницею автобіографічно забарвленої картини світу.

The article is devoted to the study of autobiographical elements and motifs in the work of A. von Droste – one of the great female authors of the nineteenth century in German literature. Ukrainian readers are hardly acquainted with Droste’s literary legacy. The life story of the great author is also not appreciated by Ukrainians, but it also deserves a detailed examination due to the unchangeable honesty and invincible faith that run through Droste’s poetic and prose works. Numerous researchers widely use the biographical method and rely on the connection between life and Droste’s work motifs; however, the analysis is mostly concentrated on a series of her significant poems. The presented study focuses on the use of autobiographical components in two unfinished Droste’s novels – “Ledwina” and “Bei uns zu Lande auf dem Lande”. The main elements of the autobiographical field creation by the author are the characters of her heroines and multi-layered composition: the reader’s peripheral perception is aimed at the typically Westphalian life style, while the locus of the family is the focus of the narration. The contemporary evolution trends in the generation relations are criticized by the writer, and a strong family relationship is demonstrated in antithetical conditions: as an idyllic picture of marital understanding and love in the novel “Bei uns zu Lande auf dem Land” and as the attempts of the widow – Ledvina’s mother – to unite her children for confrontation with new life circumstances. The presented contrast is based on Droste’s own experience. She borrowed the features of her closest people while creating the characters of the family leaders. Droste honestly provided her heroes with views on life, which are at the same time patriotic and different from her own. The basis of the main female characters of the novels (Ledvina and Sophia) is not only the appearance features and her own sickliness; the author substantiated the likelihood of their everyday life and life position from her own experience of physically limited existence and spiritual power. The subjective author’s “I” is the core, the connecting element of the composition planned by Droste, the organic arranging of the actually autobiographical and typical characteristics and traditional Westphalian markers are the signs of a deliberate creation of the autobiographical picture of the world by the writer.
