Роль інформаційно-комунікативної компетентності в організації науково-дослідницької діяльності фахівців з інформаційної, бібліотечної та архівної справи

Abstract

З метою вдосконалення власних професійно-особистісних якостей та інформаційно-комунікативної компетентності фахівець з інформаційної, бібліотечної та архівної справи повинен володіти високим рівнем знань, умінь і навичок, сучасними інформаційно-комунікаційними технологіями, що зможуть бути ефективно використані у майбутній професійній діяльності. Це пов’язано з активізацією процесів комп’ютеризації та інформатизації та впровадженням новітніх інформаційних технологій для оптимізації діяльності соціально-комунікаційних структур, зокрема бібліотек. Метою наукової роботи є аналіз сутності поняття «інформаційно-комунікативна компетентність» та визначення її ролі в процесі організації науково-дослідницької діяльності фахівців з інформаційної, бібліотечної та архівної справи. Методи дослідження: аналіз і синтез, порівняння та узагальнення, вивчення наукової літератури, періодичних видань в електронній базі Google Scholar. Під «інформаційно-комунікативною компетентністю» автор розуміє інтегративне утворення особистості, що виявляється в умінні сприймати, зберігати, аналізувати й відбирати інформацію за допо- могою сучасних засобів інформаційних і комп’ютерних технологій для розв’язання завдань у професійній діяльності і повсякденному житті. Формування інформаційно-комунікативної компетентності фахівців з інформаційної, бібліотечної та архівної справи відбуватиметься ефективніше за умови їхньої активної участі у студентських науково-практичних конференціях; розробки мультимедійних презентацій в якості індивідуально-дослідницьких завдань; підготовки інформаційних повідомлень, курсових і випускних кваліфікаційних робіт.

In order to improve professional and personal information and communication competence qualities, a specialist in information, library and archival affairs are to acquire a high level of knowledge, skills and abilities as well as to demonstrate ability to apply effectively modern information and communication technologies in the professional activities. Scholars defi ne information and communication competence as one of the basic competencies of specialists in this specialty. This is due to the intensifi cation of computerization and informatization processes and the use of the latest information technologies to optimize library and information processes. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the essence of the concept of «information and communication competence», to determine its role in the organization of research activities of specialists on information, library and archival affairs. Methods used: analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization, study of scientifi c literature, periodicals in the electronic database Google Scholar. The «information and communication competence» is defi ned as knowledge of sources of information resources; practice-oriented skills in the fi eld of information and communication technologies; ability to work with different types of information; worldview of digital technologies; understanding and awareness of the importance of information and communication technologies in professional activities; generation of new ideas in the fi eld of these technologies for training and professional and personal development. We established that the research activities of future specialists on information, library and archival affairs involve obtaining, collecting and analyzing of information; formulation of conclusions and registration scientifi c results obtained. The formation of information and communication competence of specialists on information, library and archival affairs is more effective under the condition of their active participation in student scientifi c and practical conferences; development of multimedia presentations as individual research tasks; preparation of information messages, term papers and graduate thesis.
