Французькі зв'язки фальшивомонетників в Україні в імперську добу

Abstract

У цій статті, спираючись на збережені в архівних справах та публікаціях українських газет імперської доби свідчення, описано та проаналізовано випадки «французького» сліду в фальсифікації грошей. Перші згадки про потрапляння до України підробок із Франції пов’язані із фінансовою диверсією Наполеона І Бонапарта під час Війни 1812 року. Завезення виготовлених у м. Парижі підробок зазнала також Австрія під час воєнного конфлікту 1806 – 1809 років. Після цього в Міністерстві Фінансів Російської імперії почали чітко усвідомлювати високу імовірність виявлення в державі підроблених французьких монет. Про це свідчать звіти експертів російських митниць, яким були відомі підробки французьких срібних 2 та 5 франкових монет. Французькі золоті та срібні монети були добре відомі населенню в Австро-Угорщині, галицька преса повідомляє про виявлення подібних підробок у далеких від України регіонах імперії та світу, виготовлених, до того ж, за допомогою різних технологій. Фальсифікаторів французьких монет було викрито у м. Відні та Будапешті, зафіксовані випадки обпилювання автентичних монет. Також на сторінках галицької преси повідомлено про виявлення потужного угрупування фальсифікаторів французьких грошей у самій Франції та тодішній колонії – у Тунісі. Випадки затримання фальшивомонетників уродженців Російської імперії відомі в м. Парижі, а також фальсифікатора французьких грошей викрито у м. Варні. У Російській імперії газетна періодика поступово розкриває епізоди виявлення у м. Києві значної партії підробок золотих французьких монет, а також завезення вірменами фальшивих грошей з м. Парижу та Ніцци. Злочинцям вдалося створити декілька потужних міжнародних угрупувань, які за рахунок чіткої організації тривалий час виготовляли у Франції підробки російських кредитних білетів, у подальшому збуваючи їх у віддалених регіонах імперії: на Кавказі та в Сибіру, а також крупних містах: Москві, Києві, Кракові та заселеному на той час росіянами Харбіні.

In this article, based on the evidence preserved in archives and publications of the Ukrainian newspapers of the imperial era, we identified the cases of «French» traces in the money counterfeit. The first episode of income of the money forgeries to Ukraine from France is connected with Napoleon's financial sabotage during the War of 1812. Austria also experienced the import of counterfeits made in Paris during the military conflict of 1806-1809. After that, the Russian Ministry of Finance was well informed about the possibility of detecting the counterfeit French coins made of precious metals in the Russian Empire, as was evidenced by customs experts reports, who knew about the forgeries of the French silver 5 and 2 franc coins. The French gold and silver coins were well known to the population of the Austria-Hungarian empire. The Galician press reported the public about discovering similar counterfeits in the world and empire regions located even far from Ukraine, also made using various technologies. The French coins' counterfeiters were exposed in Vienna and Budapest, cases of pollination of the authentic coins were also recorded. The Galician press reported the discovery of a powerful group of the French money counterfeiters of French money in France itself and the colony of Tunisia. The cases of detention of counterfeiters among natives from the Russian Empire were known in Paris. Moreover, the Russian counterfeiter of French money was exposed to Varna. In Russian Empire, the newspaper periodicals gradually revealed an episode of the discovery in Kyiv of a large consignment of counterfeit French coins and the importation of transporting from Paris and Nice of the counterfeit money by Armenians. The criminals managed to create several powerful international criminal groups, which because of the precise organization have produced the forgeries of Russian credit bills in France for a long time, selling them later in a different far from each other regions: the Caucasus and Siberia, as well as huge cities like Moscow, Kyiv, Krakow and settled mainly by Russians city of Harbin.
